I wanted to take a moment to personally share some updates about our pricing, which will take effect this week.
As someone who is deeply involved in every part of this business—from sourcing the best ingredients to baking and serving you—it’s important to me that you hear directly from me about why these changes are happening.
Like many small businesses, I’ve been navigating rising costs for ingredients, supplies, and operations. After taking a close look, I’ve made some adjustments that I believe are both necessary and fair while staying true to the quality and care you expect from us.
Here’s what’s changing:
Baked Goods: There will be a small increase in the per-item price at the counter.
To offer more value, I’m introducing a 5% discount when you buy 6 or more baked goods from the Cafe Menu in a single order. This includes individual muffins, scones, cookies, bars and bowls. It does not include pre-packaged flash frozen products and dayolds which are already sold at a reduced price by design.
And I’m happy to say that purchases of 6+ baked goods will still be HST-free as always, which is consistent with the regular rules for HST on bakery packages of 6 or more individual servings.
Beverages: Beverage pricing is being adjusted to better reflect the cost of preparation—some prices will increase, some will decrease, and others will stay the same.
I’ve also lowered the charge for substituting organic non-dairy milk from $1 to 75 cents, as part of my commitment to making inclusive options more accessible, and in line with recent changes in the market.
Catering: Catering prices now reflect the updates to our baked goods pricing.
Flash Frozen Products: No changes here. Those prices remain the same for now.
Muffin Perks Loyalty Program: I’ve updated redemption values to keep up with growing participation and ensure the program remains fair and sustainable for everyone.
